Apache Hat Co. was created on the San Carlos reservation in Arizona by Chiricahua Apache artist Standing Fox of bedonkohe band. Early on as a young boy Standing Foxs mother would place hats on his head. She taught him that the intention behind this is to protect the mind, spirit and to keep a person focused especially in prayer and ceremony.
